Team Leader 2
This individual performs general supervisory work under minimum supervision and specializing in asbestos and mold abatement. This level supervisor should be able to perform a wide range of task and a high level of responsibility and competency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a large crew, or multiple crews at one job location
- Ensure proper abatement techniques according to regulations
- Know how to read Asbestos Specifications, Inspection and scope of work.
- Plan the project
- Order supplies
- Be able to perform the work properly.
- Delegate task and responsibilities
- Enforce proper care of company supplies and equipment
- Lead and Train workers in proper abatement methods.
- Manage project resources
- Complete project documents in a timely manner
- Identify and resolve issues with the project.
- Ensure that the project is able to pass clearance testing
- No punch out list
- Deliver project on time and on budget
- Completes (PLOC) daily. Planning, Leadership, Organize and Control
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years minimum supervising a crew
- Asbestos Supervisor License with the Ohio Department of Health
- Complete understanding and knowledge of the Ohio Department of Health, NESHAPS and OSHA regulations for removing asbestos and Mold
- Possess and maintain your own hand tools
- Skilled in Android OS (tablet/smartphone)
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER
- OSHA 30 hour
- Professional Management training at Aileron

Work Conditions:
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other devices and objects
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl
- Vision abilities required for this position include near and far
- Night work may be required
- Ability to withstand extreme weather conditions including working in direct sunlight
- Ability to lift at least 100 pounds
- Ability to drive a box truck
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, with dirty and difficult working conditions
- Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to hear, see and speak
- Must be able to pass physical to wear respirator
Compensation:
This is a non-exempt status position starting at $17.50 and up to $19.99 based on experience with potential bonus.
